This policy outlines howthe Health App handles the personal information of its users. The Health App is developed by the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation to deliver health related messages and counselling to users to help improve their health behaviors and outcomes.
Membership and Data Collection
While anyone can download and use the Health App, users will be asked to provide their membership ID and contact number to access certain features, if they are a member of a District Health Centre Express in Hong Kong SAR, China. No other personal information will be collected.The data collected will be stored in the database server of The Hong Kong Education University.
The Health App collects information through voluntary user surveys for the sole purpose of evaluating the app and improving the services. The data collected will be accessed only by authorized staff from the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation and researchers from The Hong Kong Education University for verification and evaluation purposes only.
Data Handling and Sharing
No data collected from the Health App will be transferred or stored outside of Hong Kong. If a user wishes to access or delete their data, they must contact their District Health Centre Express.
The Health App takes precautions to protect user data including encrypting data and limiting employee access. All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS protocol. Users are not obligated to provide any personal information to use the app and can opt-out of data collection.

Use of The App
You must use the Health in Mobile App in line with its intended purpose, which is to access health-related information and counseling services provided by us and EduHK. The counseling and health content is the intellectual property of us and EduHK. Any unlawful or prohibited use of the Health in Mobile App is not permitted. We may restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Health in Mobile App at any time for any reason.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Health in Mobile App and its content including the counseling and health materials is property of us and EduHK, which is protected by intellectual property laws. Content from the Health in Mobile App may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent from us and EduHK.
User Content
By submitting any information, feedback or suggestions ("Content") on the Health in Mobile App, you agree to assign and grant us and EduHK all rights, title and interest in that Content. All Content once submitted becomes the property of us and EduHK.
No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The Health in Mobile App and its content including counseling and health materials is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We and EduHK do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information and expressly disclaim liability for errors or omissions. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from us and EduHK through the Health in Mobile App shall create any warranty.
For any concerns related to changes in health-related behaviors and habits, users should consult health professionals.
Termination of Use
We may terminate or suspend your use of the Health in Mobile App at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Upon termination, you must immediately stop accessing the Health in Mobile App. The sections 'Intellectual Property Rights' and 'No Warranty & Limitation of Liability' shall survive any termination of these Terms.
